Disney Bounding: Winnie the Pooh

In less than two weeks I’ll be going to Disneyland for a couple of days. When I heard this amazing news I was, of course, very pumped. The first thought I had was: I can wear my Winnie the Pooh shirt to Disney! It will be perfect! And that got me to my next idea: I can try Disneybounding. Disneybounding is using ordinary clothes to look like a Disney character. I thought it would be fun to give it a try and show you guys what I came up with. So for today’s article I’ll try to disneybound Winnie the Pooh. Let’s get into it!

I think we all know what our dear silly, old bear looks like, but just for reference I added a picture.

Breaking down his look is very simple: his main colours are red and yellow (obviously), and there isn’t anything special to it. Since I own a yellow Pooh shirt, I decided to have the top of my outfit yellow and the bottom red, in stead of the other way around.

Shirt: Primark

Dress: H&M

Coat: America Today

Shoes: Dr. Marten

I wore my cute Pooh shirt on top of a red dress, to give it the red the outfit needs. I added my cool raincoat to make the outfit look a bit more complete. I chose to wear my docs, since they are a red-ish colour and they have yellow stitching along the sole. They were the most fitting shoes I own.

Just a fun detail on my shirt. When I saw it in the Primark I just had to buy it. I couldn’t walk away from there without it. I may not be wearing this entire outfit to Disney, because I don’t like wearing a skirt while going on all the cool rides, but I will definitely be wearing this adorable shirt.

For makeup I chose a yellow glam look on my upper eyelids with a metallic, red eyeliner, and a mix of red and yellow eyeshadow underneath my eyes. I thought it fit the look perfectly, and it’s not too extreme. For the hair I chose half-up space buns, since they resemble Pooh’s ears a bit. I thought it was cute.

A little closeup on the eyelook. For this I used colours from the James Charles x Morphe palette. I used Tune as a transition colour and Bee on my entire eyelid and under my eye. I deepened my crease using Code James. For the shine on my lid I used So Good in the middle and Ringlight towards my inner corner. I finished the look by adding You’re Kidding under my eye. The eyeliner I used is the Essence Metal Art Lip & Eyeliner in 04 Pink Glam.

And that’s all I did to get this fun Winnie the Pooh inspired look. I had a lot of fun trying Disneybounding for the first time, and I’m definitely going to try to do other looks as well. Let me know what you think of this idea, and if you want me to do any specific Disney characters. I’ll see you guys next time!
