Italy pictures

Last year I was lucky enough to be able to go on a trip to Italy with my boyfriends’ parents, besides my trips to Crete and Limburg. Since I already share a lot of my ‘photography’ on this blog, I thought it would be fun to show some pics from this trip as well. So, buckle up, because there are quite a few!

Italy is a beautiful country. I was just in love with all the little streets and tall, colourful buildings, so there’ll be a couple more shots like this in today’s article…

This picture was taken from what was called, I believe, the ‘devil’s bridge’. I couldn’t get enough from all the mountains where we were staying. Nature is just so beautiful.

On one of the many days we were in Italy, we decided to walk a part of the Cinque Terre hiking route. We started our hike in Monterosso.

During our walk we were accompanied by the most beautiful views. The entire route goes along the edge of the mountain, right alongside the sea. It was quite the exhausting route, but it was beautiful and definitely worth the effort.

We ended our walk in the beautiful Vernazza. This is the view of the village before you walk into it. All the colourful buildings on top of the rocks, the little boats, it’s just such a lovely view.

We visited a lot of beautiful cities during our trip as well. This picture was taken in Genova. The architecture in this picture is just gorgeous.

We also visited Florence, where I took this picture of the Cathedral. The detailing on this building is amazing!

And of course we end this post with another shot of the colourful houses. I really enjoyed this trip and I love looking back at the pictures. I know these types of articles don’t contain a lot of text, but I like to let the photos speak for themselves. A picture is worth a thousand words, they say, so I hope my pictures are too. Let me know what you think of these articles and if you have other things you would like to see on the blog. I uploaded a few more photography posts, so you can check those out too, if you like. I’ll see you guys next time!
