Tutorial: Black and Pink Graphic Liner Makeup Look

I love messing around with some makeup, and some time ago I was experimenting with my new bright pink eyeliner. So I thought it would be fun to create a full eyelook with it. And this is the result. Today I’ll guide you through my steps, so you might be able to recreate it or get some inspiration from it. Let’s get into it!

We start by sticking some tape to our face. I use this to get a clean cut line in my eyeshadow. After applying eyeshadow primer on my entire lid, I applied a black eyeshadow on my lid (Spooky from the James Charles palette). I used a bright pink shadow as a transition colour, and blended the black outwards using this shade (Skip from the James Charles palette). And then I blended it a bit better using a lighter pink shade (Pinkity Drinkity from the James Charles palette) When all was blended well and the black was as black as it could be, I moved to the next step.

This step consists of applying the bright eyeliner. You could also use a liquid lipstick with a small brush for this. I used the NYX Vivid Brights Liner in Vivid Petal. This liner actually cracks a lot when it’s dried, so I don’t really like it that much. But, we’re already working with it right now.

Then we move on to the lower lash line. I applied a bright pink shadow (Ambitious from the Jessie Paege palette) here and then I used a pink eyepencil on the waterline (FireStarter by Meeki).

Then I put a bright pink metallic on the inner corner of my lid, as a sort of cut crease (Metallic pink in the NYX Ultimate Multi-Finish Shadow Palette Electric USP05). And as inner corner highlight I used a metallic light pink shade (Metallic pink in the NYX Ultimate Multi-Finish Shadow Palette Smoke Screen USP07).

I finished off the look by applying lashes and mascara. For the bottom lashes I used a pink mascara (Essence Colour Flash mascara in 03).

And that’s it! I hope you enjoyed this look and maybe got some inspiration from it as well. I want to thank you for reading, and I’ll see you next time!
