Review: Max&More Makeup Fixing Spray

Today we’re back reviewing one of my favourite brands: Max&More. Some time ago they came out with Makeup Fixing Sprays in three different types. Since I only have one setting spray and I was looking for a more low-budget one, I decided I needed one of those. So I got myself the Long Lasting version and today I’m going to tell you all about it!

Let’s first quickly talk about the packaging. Max&More packaging is always very simplistic, which I like. There’s nothing really special about it, but all the products fit really well together. I also love the soft pink colour of this bottle. The only thing I don’t really like about this spray bottle is that it’s made out of very soft plastic. So you can squeeze into the bottle, which makes it feel a bit cheap. Of course, Max&More is the most budget brand you can get, so I’m not complaining. You just can’t expect the most beautiful, expensive packaging when you’re not even paying two euros for it.

Then onto the spray itself. First things first, it smells nice. I don’t know what it smells like, but it’s a very nice, fresh smell and it doesn’t linger on your face after using it. Since my first, and only, setting spray before this one was the Urban Decay All Nighter Spray, I do tend to compare this one to that. Compared to the high-end spray, this spray disperses a little less well. The droplets are a bit bigger, and I feel like I need to spray a bit more to cover my face well enough. But that really isn’t such an issue because it does the job well. I do feel very secure going out with this spray covering my makeup. After a full day, everything does have shifted a bit, but not drastically. It isn’t exactly as good as the high-end spray, but it does come really close to it. And when you compare prices, this one seems a lot more attractive.

In conclusion, this setting spray is great. It keeps my makeup on my face, it’s comfortable to spray and it has a nice scent. And the price makes it an even better spray. It’s also available in two other versions, which I haven’t tried yet. However, I assume they are just as good. I really recommend trying this one out if you’re looking for a setting spray. It might just be exactly what you’re looking for, without having to pay a lot for it.

I want to thank you for reading and I’ll see you next time!
