Review: TOUCHBeauty Ultrasonic Scrub Device

When I was asked by TOUCHBeauty if I wanted to review their new Ultrasonic Scrub Device, I immediately said yes. Trying out a fun, new skincare tool? I’m always up for that! Especially since I have a lot of clogged pores in my T-zone, and I can definitely use something to help get rid of those. So, they sent me their Scrub Device, and I’ve tried it out a few times now. Today I’ll tell you all about it!

What is the Ultrasonic Scrub Device?

The TOUCHBeauty Ultrasonic Scrub Device is a beauty tool which offers two functions: exfoliation and nutrition. The first mode uses high-frequency vibrations (up to 26,000 Hz) to force the dirt and oil out of your pores, without damaging the skin. It helps to deeply cleanse your skin and to exfoliate it, getting rid of dead skin cells and so much more. The second mode is supposed to help your skin absorb your skincare products better. It massages the products into the skin, making sure the products penetrate deeper and are absorbed quicker. It also promises to promote collagen production, which helps to tighten the skin. This device sounds like some kind of miracle product, especially for people like me with a lot of texture in their skin.

The packaging

Let’s talk about the packaging of this product first. I absolutely love the packaging. It comes in a nice, sturdy box out of which slides the box which holds the product. This box has a lid which has a see-through part, so you can see the device already. It’s quite simplistic, but it looks and feels very luxurious. It’s also packaged properly and the box protects the device well. The way it’s packaged just feels expensive and nice, which is something you could expect given the price of the scrub device.

What do you get?

The Ultrasonic Scrub Device comes with a few items in the box. First of all, you of course have the scrub device, but it also comes with a matching charging base and a cable. Next, you have the manual, a particularly important component. This explains how to use, clean, and store the device. Then there’s a small cleaning cloth, for cleaning the device after usage. And finally, there’s some items to protect the scrub device, namely a rubber covering for the spatula and a nice, little bag for the scrubber. Until now I’ve stored the scrub device in its original box, but when I take it with me to my boyfriend’s place I bring it in the nice bag. It’s a fun little addition to the package, which does add on to the luxurious feel of it all.

The device

The device itself has a very sleek design, with a fully chrome look. It looks nice, but it also lies very comfortably in the hand. For some reason I expected it to be quite heavy, but it’s surprisingly light. It’s just heavy enough that you can hold on to it well, but it’s light enough to be comfortable to use. The design also looks extra sleek and modern since it does not have any buttons. You turn on the device by tapping twice on the top part of the handle. A light in the shape of an eye starts to shine and now the device is turned on. When you slowly slide your finger upwards from the bottom of the device, you increase the intensity. A thin bar starts to shine which indicates on which level the device is. I think it looks really nice and luxurious. The only thing I don’t like about the chrome look is that you can see all the fingerprints on it. But that’s definitely not a problem, I can simply wipe my greasy fingerprints off the device with the included cloth. Very handy.

My experience

Let’s start with the exfoliating function of the Ultrasonic Scrub Device. I have used this function quite a few times now, and it really helps to reduce the texture in my T-zone. When using this function, you have to dampen the skin first with either water or toner. Then you turn on the device and turn it upside-down. You want the flat side of the spatula to be pointing upwards, so you’re pushing the point-y side into the skin. Now you start working from the outside of your face inwards, always keeping your skin damp. You actually see a mist spraying from your skin when your skin is damp enough. I usually use this mode on my T-zone only, since my cheeks are very sensitive and I don’t want to over-exfoliate those areas.

Using this tool is really fun, because you can actually see the gunk getting out of your pores. It’s really satisfying to watch and I feel like it really cleans my skin. It does sometimes start to feel a bit hot on the skin, but that’s because there’s a lot of energy being released with so many vibrations. Just don’t use the device too long on the same area. After five minutes of using it altogether, the scrub device turns off automatically. This is to really make sure you don’t over-exfoliate your skin and start damaging your skin. I use the device about twice a week to really give my skin a good clean, and I feel like it really helps to reduce the texture in my T-zone. I’m really curious to see what kind of effect it has over a long period of time, but in this short span that I got to try it out in, it has already really helped to clean my skin well. My skin also just feels so soft and clean after using it, which is the best feeling ever!

Like I said, the tool also has a nutrition mode. To use this, you first apply your daily cream or serum or whatever you like to use, and then you apply the flat side of the tool to your face. The vibrations massage the skin and really help the skin to absorb the creams quicker. It also just feels really nice to have your face massaged like that. It almost feels like a salon experience, but then at home. It’s a nice addition to an exfoliating device.

I really enjoy using this Ultrasonic Scrub Device. It has upped my skincare game and it helped to reduce the texture in my T-zone. It also just feels nice to use and gives you a salon-like experience. It’s just nice to pamper yourself in the evenings with such an extended skincare routine. After using it’s easy to clean and to store. The device can go about 1,5 hours without charging, so you can definitely go a week with using it everyday without having to charge it. And when you have to charge it, just put it on the base and it’s charging. It’s really easy, effective and it also looks luxurious. I don’t really see any downsides to adding this device to your routine. The only downside could be the price, since it is a high-end product. It retails for $299,99, which is quite pricey. However, you’re getting something that you can use for a long time and really helps the skin. And even more fun: I get to give you a discount code! If you use code SANNE at checkout, you get 15% off. So, in conclusion, the TOUCHBeauty Ultrasonic Scrub Device a nice tool. It really helps to exfoliate the skin, but you also get a nice nutrition/massaging mode on top of that. It looks and feels luxurious and it can be used for a long time on lots of different skin types. I would recommend this Ultrasonic Scrub Device!
