How to Style Mom Jeans Three Different Ways

I recently bought myself my first pair of mom jeans. I had been looking for a good pair for a while that was my style and actually fit my body well, but I hadn’t really found one. Until I stumbled upon this amazing pair with adorable little ducks embroidered on them. It can’t be more me! In this post I wanted to show how versatile the mom jean actually is. It seems like a very casual pant, but you can definitely dress it up a bit as well. So today I styled this pair of jeans in three different styles of outfits: classy, grungy, and more streetwear-like. Let’s get into it!

Recreating Grunge Tumblr Pictures – The Results!

Two days ago I uploaded a fun lil’ video, where I tried to recreate some of the most extra grunge pictures I could find on Pinterest. They all gave me such 2014 Tumblr vibes, and I just wanted to relive that era for a day. I always wanted to dress more grunge, because I thought it looked badass, but I never really got fully into the grunge style. I just like to mix grunge items with my other items to create fun combos. This did make it a bit easier to recreate the pictures, because I did have a few grunge-style items in my wardrobe. Anyways, I recreated a few, and some kind of worked out well. Today I’ll share with you the results. Let’s get into it!

Video: Recreating Grunge Aesthetic Pictures | Fail?

A few years back I was really into the grunge clothing style, and I loved to go onto the interwebs and search for aesthetically pleasing pictures. Now my style has evolved and I moved a bit away from the grunge style. However, I was recently scowering Pinterest and I ran into some grunge aesthetic pictures on there. What if I tried to do something with that? I really felt like recreating them and going back to my grunge days. So I did! And here’s the result… Hope you enjoy!

How to Do Gradient Lip Arts

I’ve really been into trying new makeup things lately and getting out my comfort zone. I don’t really have a comfort zone eyeshadow-wise, because I’m not afraid to try anything. However, I almost never wear any lipproducts. And if I’m wearing any, it’s just a nude or rose lipstick. I just don’t really like lip products and how they feel. So, I decided I needed to try more with my lips. And what better way to start than going the extreme: lip arts. I’m a big fan of lip arts! They look extremely cool in pictures, but they also take a lot of skill. So, I did want to start with one of the simpler lip arts. I tried multiple gradients lips and I found what worked best, so today I’m sharing the tips that I worked out to anyone that also wants to start with lip art! Let’s get into the gradients!

DIY: How to Make an Earring Organizer/Holder

I’ve recently been getting more into jewelry and accessorizing my outfits. I never really used earrings as a true accessory, but I got some old hoops from my mum which I’ve suddenly been wearing almost every day. I don’t know, I just feel powerful in hoop earrings. Because I’d been having so much fun wearing different earrings, I ordered a few more off of AliExpress. This also means that my collection is getting pretty big, and pretty unorganized. I currently have my earrings in a little jar, and it takes me a few minutes to pick the right ones and find their other halves as well. So, I wanted to get an organizer that fits my needs. However, almost all earring organizers were either just for hanging earrings, or they included room for necklaces as well. I did not want that. I wanted one that could fit all my earrings, even my studs, but also just my earrings, so not any other jewelry. Of course, they do exist, but they can be quite expensive. So why not make one myself? I managed to make a fun one that fit my needs exactly, so I thought I’d show you guys how I did that. Let’s get into making our own earring organizer!

Video: Full Face Using Only ONE Eyeshadow Palette!

Last week I challenged myself to do an entire face of makeup, but only using one eyeshadow palette. So I had to do EVERYTHING with eyeshadow! Foundation, contour, lipstick, brows. Everything. It was a lot of fun and I even implemented another mini challenge where my boyfriend chooses the colours for my eyelook. It was a lot of fun to film, and hopefully it’s also a lot of fun to watch! Hope you enjoy!

How to Style a Statement Coat | Outfit of the Day

At the beginning of 2020, when it was still possible, I went thriftshopping again. I found a couple fun pieces, but the best thing that I found was this amazing blue trenchcoat. It was totally up my alley: colourful, patterned, a total crazy statement piece. I love anything that’s over the top! However, I know a lot of you don’t always like such in-your-face clothing items. Because, to be fair, they’re kind of hard to style. Especially for me, since my wardrobe consists for 90% of crazy patterned and coloured items. Sometimes it’s just a bit of a struggle to turn those statement items into a fun outfit, so that’s why I wrote this post. I managed to style this crazy, blue coat in a very fun way (if I may say so myself), and I wanted to share it with you to give you an example on how to style a statement coat. Let’s get into it!

A few weeks ago I posted an article where I used the Conspiracy palette for a week (find it here). Well, I had so much fun making that post and experimenting with one palette, that I decided to do it again. This time I used the Morphe x James Charles palette. I’ve had this palette since it came out I think, and it was the palette that got me more into makeup and colourful looks. I think it’s a great palette and it’s very versatile, but I don’t grab it on the regular. So, I wanted to use it for a week straight and see what kinds of different looks I could make. I managed to make a look for every work day, including a bonus look! So, if you want to see the versatility of this palette put to use, keep on reading!
