Another cheap Huda Beauty dupe? Yes, please! Today I’m reviewing another FAB Factory eyeshadow palette, this time the orange Tropical Beauty palette, which is clearly inspired by the Huda Beauty Neon Orange Obsessions palette. It may be very affordable and cute, but is it any good? Let’s find out in today’s video!
I want to thank you for watching and I’ll see you next time!
How many times have I scrolled through Instagram looking at different false lash companies, all stating different things about their cruelty-free mink lashes. I’ve read so many different excuses: the minks live on a free-range farm, they get all the freedom they need, and they are just softly brushed to get the fur for the lashes. I’ve even read some of the weirdest claims like: ‘Our lashes are just made of fur which is found on the floor of the mink cages’. And all these brands claim to be cruelty-free. But can they really be cruelty-free when animals are involved in the process?
Last week I was nosing around in a new store in Eindhoven called Miniso. It’s one of those stores where you just walk around and you want to put literally everything in your basket. Everything is just so cute! And they have so many different kinds of things. From kitchen stuff, to pillows, to beauty tools. Of course I had to take one of those beauty tools home, especially since they’re so affordable. I chose their Silicone Facial Cleaner with sonic vibrations. I have been curious about these kinds of cleaners for a while now, so it was nice to find them in such an affordable store. If you’re just as curious about what these things do and if they are any good, definitely keep reading!
I recently have been looking for some nice, new lashes, since most of my lashes were dying. So when I ordered some new make-up from Kosmetik4Less, I thought, ‘might as well add some lashes to my cart’. And that’s what I did. I ordered some of their cheaper, human-hair lashes, and one pair of their newer, more expensive (but still affordable), synthetic lashes. And that’s what I’m reviewing today! I tried out the synthetic 3D eyelashes a few times now, and I’m going to tell you all about them. Let’s get into it!
In my journey towards a completely cruelty-free cosmetics collection I’ve ran into this problem so many times: a brand calling itself cruelty-free, while not actually being cruelty-free. It’s a bit of a struggle to find out which brands you actually want to support and which ones you don’t. But why is this such a problem and how do I work around it? I’ll tell you all about it in today’s post!
Three months ago I started using the Eliza Jones Brightening Super Booster serum, and I’ve gone through one container of it now. So, I thought it was time to tell you guys about this product as well, since it’s such a staple in my skincare routine. I used this product once a day for three months, so what exactly did it do for my skin? And since this also has vitamin C in it, is it a good, low-budget vitamin C serum? If you want answers to these questions, don’t be afraid to keep reading!
Recently I’ve started expanding my vegan beauty collection. My collection is already completely cruelty free, but I think having vegan products is also important. Because why should an innocent being have to suffer for us to look pretty? It’s perfectly possible to look and feel pretty without using animals. So that’s why I wanted to make a post dedicated to my favourite vegan beauty products, which are also very affordable, to show you how easy it is to create a vegan beauty collection. And that vegan products are definitely not any less good than other products. Let’s get into it!
I was doing some casual online shopping at HEMA (when am I not?) and I ran into these reusable make-up wipes. I’ve been looking to get something like this for a while now, but everything similar seems to be so expensive. Except for these ones. So when I saw them I immediately added them to my order and paid for them. I was so curious to see if something like this actually worked! Make-up cloths which only need water to remove make-up? It just sounds too good to be true, especially for this price. Let’s see if the myths are actually true!
When Essence announced they were going to release a collection inspired by bees and honey, I was on the one hand very excited, but on the other very skeptical. I was afraid they were going to release a collection made with honey, which would actually be a lot worse for the bees. Thankfully they didn’t do that, but they actually released a very fun, all vegan, make-up collection. I love what this trend edition represents and I’m the biggest fan of bees and the colour yellow. So I just had to get myself some of the products, and I will be reviewing them today. Let’s get into the Essence Wanna Bee My Honey trend edition!
Most often I wear my contact lenses, which give me great space and opportunity to wear a lot of makeup and experiment with it. It also makes me feel very confident. However, some days I just don’t feel like wearing contacts, so then I just wear my glasses. But does that mean I can’t wear any makeup and I have to look like a slump all day? No, of course not! Recently I’ve been experimenting with the makeup and glasses combo and trying out what works and what not. So I have compiled a small list of tips, which may be useful to you as well, when you’re still figuring out how to wear your makeup together with your glasses. I guess we’ll just get into it!
