Recently I’ve started expanding my vegan beauty collection. My collection is already completely cruelty free, but I think having vegan products is also important. Because why should an innocent being have to suffer for us to look pretty? It’s perfectly possible to look and feel pretty without using animals. So that’s why I wanted to make a post dedicated to my favourite vegan beauty products, which are also very affordable, to show you how easy it is to create a vegan beauty collection. And that vegan products are definitely not any less good than other products. Let’s get into it!Continue reading “The Best Low-Budget VEGAN Beauty Products!”
I was doing some casual online shopping at HEMA (when am I not?) and I ran into these reusable make-up wipes. I’ve been looking to get something like this for a while now, but everything similar seems to be so expensive. Except for these ones. So when I saw them I immediately added them to my order and paid for them. I was so curious to see if something like this actually worked! Make-up cloths which only need water to remove make-up? It just sounds too good to be true, especially for this price. Let’s see if the myths are actually true!Continue reading “Review: HEMA Reusable Make-up Removing Cloths”
When Essence announced they were going to release a collection inspired by bees and honey, I was on the one hand very excited, but on the other very skeptical. I was afraid they were going to release a collection made with honey, which would actually be a lot worse for the bees. Thankfully they didn’t do that, but they actually released a very fun, all vegan, make-up collection. I love what this trend edition represents and I’m the biggest fan of bees and the colour yellow. So I just had to get myself some of the products, and I will be reviewing them today. Let’s get into the Essence Wanna Bee My Honey trend edition!Continue reading “Review: Essence Wanna Bee My Honey Trend Edition”
Most often I wear my contact lenses, which give me great space and opportunity to wear a lot of makeup and experiment with it. It also makes me feel very confident. However, some days I just don’t feel like wearing contacts, so then I just wear my glasses. But does that mean I can’t wear any makeup and I have to look like a slump all day? No, of course not! Recently I’ve been experimenting with the makeup and glasses combo and trying out what works and what not. So I have compiled a small list of tips, which may be useful to you as well, when you’re still figuring out how to wear your makeup together with your glasses. I guess we’ll just get into it!Continue reading “How to Do Makeup When You Wear Glasses | Beauty Tips”

Lately I’ve really been upping my skincare game. I’ve created a full on morning and night routine, and it has done wonders for my skin. The only thing that was really missing, was a lipscrub. I have permanently dry lips and it annoys me a lot, since I can’t wear most lip products. It just looks weird or feels uncomfortable. So, I wanted to start using a lip scrub so I can prepare my lips a bit more for when I’m wearing lipstick. However, I’m a very budget-driven person. I don’t like to spend a lot of money on beauty products, and a lot of lip scrubs are more on the high end. So why not make one myself? I curated a very simple lip scrub recipe with only three ingredients. It’s easy to make, it tastes great, and it exfoliates my lips as well. What else do you want? Let’s get into making this lemon sugar lip scrub!Continue reading “DIY: How to Make a Lemon Sugar Lip Scrub (Vegan)”
Recently I’ve really been loving adding blush to my make-up routine. I used to always hate blush and I never wore it, mainly because I didn’t know how to use it properly and I didn’t have any good blushes. So, I decided to buy a blush palette to try out, and I was hooked immediately. Now I wear it almost everyday. So of course, now I needed some extra blushes to expand my collection. When I saw these blushes at Kruidvat just laying there, looking pretty, being vegan, I just grabbed one and paid for it. I didn’t even really think about it, I just quickly decided I needed it. Talk about an impulse buy, right? So today, we’re reviewing this Velvet Glow Baked Blush by Kruidvat. Let’s get into it!Continue reading “Review: Kruidvat Velvet Glow Baked Blush”

I’ve really been into trying new makeup things lately and getting out my comfort zone. I don’t really have a comfort zone eyeshadow-wise, because I’m not afraid to try anything. However, I almost never wear any lipproducts. And if I’m wearing any, it’s just a nude or rose lipstick. I just don’t really like lip products and how they feel. So, I decided I needed to try more with my lips. And what better way to start than going the extreme: lip arts. I’m a big fan of lip arts! They look extremely cool in pictures, but they also take a lot of skill. So, I did want to start with one of the simpler lip arts. I tried multiple gradients lips and I found what worked best, so today I’m sharing the tips that I worked out to anyone that also wants to start with lip art! Let’s get into the gradients!Continue reading “How to Do Gradient Lip Arts”
Last week I challenged myself to do an entire face of makeup, but only using one eyeshadow palette. So I had to do EVERYTHING with eyeshadow! Foundation, contour, lipstick, brows. Everything. It was a lot of fun and I even implemented another mini challenge where my boyfriend chooses the colours for my eyelook. It was a lot of fun to film, and hopefully it’s also a lot of fun to watch! Hope you enjoy!
