Sanne’s Student Recipes: Vegan Red Curry and the Easiest Pesto Pasta’s (Vegetarian)

I’ve been living the student life for about two years now, and I feel like I’m finally getting the hang of cooking easy, but healthy and yummy meals. Also a factor that plays a big role in my little student life: money. I don’t like spending a whole lot on a meal and sometimes that does happen when you’re using fresh ingredients. Mostly because ingredients NEVER come in useful, one person packages. You either have to buy loose things, which sometimes is not possible, or make more so you can eat the same thing multiple days. But I’m not about that life, I like some variety. So I tried my best finding a balance in all of these things and I created a couple meals that are delicious, very easy (I made them so that says a lot), and not too expensive. In this post I’ll share a few with you, so keep on reading if you want to know how to make a lovely vegan curry and two fun pesto pasta dishes.

Tropical Bird Makeup Tutorial

IMG_4600 (1)

This week I felt like playing with my makeup, and I found this really cool eyepencil lying around. But what do you do with a metallic blue eyepencil? I just had fun with it and tried some thing out, until I ended up with this really cool look. The colours remind me of a kingfisher. Of course this is not really a tropical bird, but it’s definitely a tropicalΒ looking bird. Well, enough of my chitchat. If you want to see how I achieved this fun look, keep on reading!

On Mental Health

I have been wanting to talk about mental health for a while now. In some personal articles I have mentioned that I struggle with life a bit sometimes. Because I am definitely not the only one, and there are people who experience a lot worse, I thought it would be good to open up this conversation. A lot of people on social media have been adressing the stigma around mental health lately. People like Jessie Paege share a lot about their own mental health and are trying to delete the taboo around this topic. One of the most important steps of improving your mental health, is to talk about your problems. It gets heavier and heavier to keep them to yourself. That’s why it’s important that social media is getting more open to discuss things like this and that’s why I want to address it today as well.

Review: Foto op Canvas van Studentendrukwerk

Today’s article is written for my Dutch readers.

OOTD: Going to a Twenty One Pilots Concert

Last week I went to a Twenty One Pilots concert for the second time in my life. They are one of my all time favourite bands, and I was extremely hyped for the concert. Usually, I wear the same outfit to all my rock concerts, because it’s easy and I look cool in it. But for this concert, I wanted to do a special outfit. Trench-style. Today, I’ll show you what I looked like last week. Let’s go!
