Review: Max & More Concealer

Recently Max&More launched their new collection. They revamped lots of their older products and added a few new ones, which I was very curious about. They also made the entire new collection vegan, which is amazing! One of the first products I reached for was the new concealer. I remember Max&More having a concealer stick in their collection four or five years ago, but they have never had a liquid concealer before. So, I was extremely curious for this one and I just had to try it out. Today I’ll tell you all about it!

Cruelty-Free Mink Lashes: Do They Exist?

How many times have I scrolled through Instagram looking at different false lash companies, all stating different things about their cruelty-free mink lashes. I’ve read so many different excuses: the minks live on a free-range farm, they get all the freedom they need, and they are just softly brushed to get the fur for the lashes. I’ve even read some of the weirdest claims like: ‘Our lashes are just made of fur which is found on the floor of the mink cages’. And all these brands claim to be cruelty-free. But can they really be cruelty-free when animals are involved in the process?

What’s Wrong With Brands Labeling Themselves Cruelty-Free

In my journey towards a completely cruelty-free cosmetics collection I’ve ran into this problem so many times: a brand calling itself cruelty-free, while not actually being cruelty-free. It’s a bit of a struggle to find out which brands you actually want to support and which ones you don’t. But why is this such a problem and how do I work around it?
