Tutorial: Spring Inspired Floral Eyelook

Lately I’ve been in such a good mood because of the nice weather, and I really felt like portraying that in a makeup look. So I made a look with my favourite colour: yellow. I wanted it to be a happy and adorable looking “piece of art”. So I grabbed my makeup and my face paints and I started drawing flowers on my eyes. Want to see how I did that? Then definitely keep on reading!

Using the Jeffree Star Cosmetics Conspiracy Palette for a Week!

When I ordered the Conspiracy palette last year, I convinced myself I needed it because of all the great looks I could make with it. However, now I actually own it, I’ve been struggling a bit with making looks with it. It’s a very diverse palette and I use it often in combination with other palettes, but just using it on its own I find myself out of ideas most of the time. So, I thought I’d battle that inspiration block by giving myself a challenge: for a full work-week I’d have to create a look with this palette every single day. So that means five looks with one palette, in a short period of time. Let’s see how I pulled that off!

Tutorial: Pastel Dream EyeLook

I’ve really been trying to not buy new eyeshadow palettes lately, and that has been going pretty well. I just feel like I already have enough eyeshadows and I can play with what I have, so I just don’t need anything new, how fun it may be. Also, I’m trying to save some money, so buying makeup does not fit into that picture, haha. I’ve managed not to buy anything new lately, but when Morphe came out with their pastel palette, it was a bit tough for me, because I just love pastels. So, to convince myself I didn’t need that palette, I decided to create a pastel eyelook with all the eyeshadows I already have! Today I’m showing you how I did that and which shadows I used, and maybe inspire you to do the same kind of thing. Let’s get into it!

My Instagram Followers Choose My Eye Makeup

I know this trend has passed a long while ago on YouTube, but I still always wanted to try it: the Instagram followers choose my makeup trend. I think it’s a really fun concept, because it challenges you in a creative way. I like to be challenged creatively and I come up with challenges for myself a lot, because I think they help me learn new tricks and ways. It’s just always a great learning moment, and also a fun time in general. So a few weeks ago I asked my followers to help me pick my eye makeup, and today I’m sharing the results. Let’s get into it!

Video: Quarantine Chat and Makeup Time!

Since everyone is currently self-isolating as much as possible (or at least, I sure do hope you are!), I wanted to sit down and chat a bit about how I’m dealing with this quarantine situation and what I’m doing in my spare time. I’m just chatting and doing my makeup and I hope it will help you pass the lots of alone-time a bit! Excuse the lesser quality of the video, I explain everything about that in the video itself. Also sorry for my voice, I’ve been fighting of a cold and my voice sounds a bit worn down. But besides all that, I hope you enjoy!

Eyeliner Hacks: Fun Things to Try with Coloured Eyeliner

I recently got myself a new coloured eyeliner and it got me thinking. A simple coloured eyeliner wing is very cute, of course, but there must be other things to do with it, right? I like doing weird things with makeup, even if I’m not even going anywhere. I just like playing with different colours and textures, and sometimes it works out, and sometimes it doesn’t. This time I decided to play with all the different coloured eyeliners I own and I found some fun, different ways to use them. So today I’m showing you all the ways I was able to use them, in the hopes that it may inspire you to play with your makeup more, or use these techniques. Let’s go!

Review: Essence Choose Your Glow Highlighter Palette

I know, I know, I said I was gonna stop with the Essence reviews. Well, I just have to excuse myself this one last time, since I got this beauty of a product and I just have to tell you about it! I got to use this while shooting for the Essence videos, and since using it back then I was just waiting for the new collection to be in store so I could go cop this palette. So the first day the collection was in stores in the Netherlands, I ran to the Kruidvat and got myself the Choose Your Glow palette. And since I’m so excited about it, I just have to tell everybody about this beauty. So let’s get into it!

Review: Essence AIR Eyeshadow Palette

As you may have seen recently, I got the amazing opportunity to collab with one of my favourite brands: essence. We created some videos together, and on the shoot day they gifted me some of the products that I got to play with. One product that I really wanted to try was the Air Eyeshadow Palette, so they were so kind to gift me that one too. When scrolling the webside I was immediately drawn to this specific palette, because of the lovely pastel colours. It really spoke to me, while the other element palettes didn’t really. And funny thing: I’m a Libra, which is an air sign, so in my head that’s definitely the reason I felt so connected to this palette. And all the more reason to write an in depth review on it. Let’s get into it!
