By now, I think half the western population will have seen Avengers Endgame. Even people who don’t like Marvel movies will, at least, have seen some parts of this movie. Be it in trailers, memes, or the entire movie itself. I got to see it the second it was released in the Netherlands, which was really cool. I definitely needed some time to recover after watching this movie, and after some time the inspiration finally started kicking in. So today I wanted to show you how I made a, quite simple, Infinity Gauntlet inspired makeup look. Let’s jump into it!Continue reading “Tutorial: Infinity Gauntlet Inspired Makeup Look”
A couple of weeks ago a YouTuber who I enjoy watching, Jessie Paege, released her own eyeshadow palette. Since Jessie is very active in the LGBTQ+ community, she designed an adorable rainbow palette, of which a part of the profit goes to the Trevor Project. Because I wanted to support one of my favourite creators and of course a good cause, I just had to buy this palette. Also: it’s rainbow. I’ve had it for a little while now and I just feel like I have to write a bit about it. So today I’m reviewing the Jessie Paege x Tarte eyeshadow palette.
I know pride month has just ended, but I felt like I couldn’t pass the opportunity to do something fun with it. Of course I could tell you that I posted this late about it because everyday should be pride month, because it’s important to keep celebrating the things the LGBTQ+ community has accomplished and to keep fighting for equality, even outside of pride month. But, however much that is true, I was just very late with actually doing something, lol. So here’s my, tiny bit later than planned, pride inspired makeup tutorial. Let’s get into it!
Recently HEMA came out with a new, all vegan makeup line, called Before Anything Else. Also called BAE. When I found out about this new line, I knew I had to try some products. One of the products I got was the Shake Up Baking Powder. Today I’ll tell you all about this powder and what I think about it. Let’s go!
Today I’m back with another makeup tutorial! If you read the ‘What I would wear to Coachella if I would go’ post, then you have probably seen this look already. It consists of only brown shades, and that’s what I love about it. I really like brown, because it accentuates my eye colour very well. If you want to know how I created this all brown makeup look, keep on reading.
This week I felt like playing with my makeup, and I found this really cool eyepencil lying around. But what do you do with a metallic blue eyepencil? I just had fun with it and tried some thing out, until I ended up with this really cool look. The colours remind me of a kingfisher. Of course this is not really a tropical bird, but it’s definitely a tropical looking bird. Well, enough of my chitchat. If you want to see how I achieved this fun look, keep on reading!
A long, long time ago I uploaded a makeup tutorial called ‘Smokey eye, or is it?’ (Dutch: Smokey eye, of toch niet?). Since I have gotten a lot better at doing makeup since then, I thought it would be fun to recreate this look. So I tried this look again using a different technique, my new skills, and my current makeup. In this article I’ll give you an entirely updated version of this fun little look. Let’s get into it.
